Here is a quick project for all the InstaMorph Weekend Warriors. This one was inspired by a question regarding making a plastic liner for tool boxes. Now, an entire liner out of InstaMorph might be an ambitious project (although it sounds awesome), but small holders and carrying cases are not a problem. In just a few minutes you can mock up something very practical.
We made the socket holder in minutes with a nice long piece of InstaMorph. Just heat up a handful of InstaMorph pellets (or reheat some from a previous project) and roll into a long tube. Place the tube on a flat surface, push in the tools, and let cool. Make sure to not skimp on the InstaMorph; you want the tube thick enough to make a good impression so the sockets don’t fall out when bumped.
