InstaMorph can be used to turn even the most simple of materials into useful tools. Here, Jeff made a handle for a large nail, creating a tool for punching large holes in a piece of cardboard.
“Needed a tool to poke 1/4″ holes in the middle of large pieces of corrugated cardboard. The right choice was an awl, but 1/4” shaft on an awl is really big, so I made one with a spike and InstaMorph. I ground the tapered end of the nail to a sharp point, cut the spike to 5 inches, then notched the other end (to stay put in the InstaMorph. With a 2 inch plastic ball on one end, it was a “comfortable” tool ready to punch many holes.”
