Have a knife without a sheath? Make your own out of InstaMorph. Thanks Alex for the picture and instructions.
“I bought a fixed blade utility knife for my InstaMorph creations, but I quickly became tired of removing the blade every time I was done using it. I solved this problem by making a simple but effective blade sheath using InstaMorph.
I used a pasta maker to roll out a sheet of InstaMorph that was approximately 3/8 in thick. I then draped the hot sheet over the cutting end of the knife and shaped it so it matched the contours of the knife handle. Once it had the right shape, I dunked it in ice water to harden it and then trimmed away the excess plastic. I then finished the sheath by attaching 5 thin strands of InstaMorph to make it easier to grip.”
